Angel McCoughtry

BIO: WNBA legend Angel McCoughtry was born in Baltimore and attended the University of Louisville from 2005-2009, where she became the program’s all-time leading scorer. She was the number one overall pick by the Atlanta Dream in the 2009 WNBA Draft and has enjoyed an illustrious career on the court. Her accomplishments, such as Rookie of the Year, 5-time WNBA All-Star, and 2-time WNBA scoring champion, were recognized by the league in 2021 when she was selected to the W25 list that celebrated the top 25 players in the WNBA’s 25-year history. With Team USA, McCoughtry won Olympic gold medals at the London and Rio Games. 

Angel stays busy off the court with her foundation, McCoughtry’s Mission, entrepreneurial endeavors, and commentating for ESPN. Angel is based out of Atlanta and gives back to the community every chance. 

Angel is a multitalented writer, producer, and artist. She is Head of Culture at Player TV. She has also produced scripted TV shows for television. Her artistry and creativity are unmeasured.
